Finding my tribe!

You know that feeling when you meet someone and you just click? I hope you do. I'm sure there are some people who go through life without finding their tribe. Which is sad.

I was chatting to a trader today and we discussed how special it is when you find that spark with people. It really got me thinking about how much of a gift it is when you have that platonic connection with someone, when someone just gets you and you don't need to pretend to be a different version of you, slightly more polished, or someone others expect you to be.

How freeing it is to you unapologetically you!

This is connected to my business, thank you for sticking with me this far!! Not only have I made some wonderful friends through markets and even online friends through the silversmithing community (maybe us creatives have a little screw loose which is easily recognisable to another creative), but lots of you lovely customers also!

I feel like I'm establishing my aesthetic now, although I try to appeal to a wide market, all my ranges tie together in the end. I'm not mass-produced, I like to be pretty but a little rustic and not totally perfect (I'm still talking jewellery here!).

I believe that now I feel comfortable with my ranges and my presentation, I attract the customers who are my people and we all seem to get each other.

I LOVE doing markets, I love meeting people, chatting, getting to know new customers and catching up with traders. I drink coffee and laugh all day. When I'm not being sociable, I'm planning. Planning new ranges, projects, displays...etc etc...you get the idea. The head is always busy. Not to mention the CONSTANT attention that social media needs. I was surprised at just how much attention needs to be paid to socials to remain visible and active. Granted, more followers doesn't always mean more sales, but it is absolutely crucial to my business that I'm present and paying attention to Instagram and Facebook.

Which leads me on to thanking you lovely lot for always helping me stay visible. Without your interaction, I'd get hardly any visibility at all. So thank you! A simple 'like' of an image/post or a comment and share, makes so much difference. I cant even express how much!

As always, thank you for reading this far and thank you for being part of my tribe!
